Avalon is a 1992 Catalina 30 MkII that is berthed in San Francisco at South Beach Harbor next to AT&T Park - home of the World Champion San Francisco Giants. The boat is set up for both light cruising and club racing.
Jack (father) and John (son) have been boat partners since 1985. Christopher (grandson) is a regular on Avalon whenever his dinghy/skiff sailing schedule allows.
